As a business there is a constant focus on revenue and profit margins.  Success is based on increased growth and an improved bottom line.  While TRG has experienced tremendous growth in 2018 and all the traditional aspects of success in business, we look at more than just the numbers.

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is a community of animal hospitals and pet resorts.  In 1996, company founder, Stan Creighton realized that fewer veterinarians were able to come out of veterinary school and purchase a practice from a retiring veterinarian.  Stan saw an opportunity and began buying practices from retiring veterinarians, allowing them to transition to retirement and for new veterinarians to step into a practice seamlessly. What started with 15 practices has grown to hundreds across the US, Canada and Australia.In 2018.

TRG teammates have a long line of family members who have served or are currently serving.  We have so much gratitude for those veterans because we know that the freedom we have to own our own business is due to the sacrifices and commitment of those who serve.

Vendor exhibits are a standard part of many company meetings, providing an opportunity for vendors to share their latest products and programs while generating funds for the host organization through exhibitor fees.

We are often asked about using an in-house production company versus our independent production services.  Making the choice can have a big impact on the meeting budget as well as experience.  While using the in-house production company may at first seem to be the expedient choice, there are many benefits to working with an independent production company, like TRG.

This month, TRG is excited to celebrate our Fifth Anniversary!  We would like to thank all of our amazing clients, partners and teammates for making the last 5 years so great.

TRG spends a lot of time traveling all over the country to produce corporate meetings. When we have a moment between shows to take a breath, we take time to give back to our communities at home.  TRG teammate Amy Darbyshire has dedicated time volunteering for IDignity over the past year.  IDignity is a Central Florida organization that was established to help those that may be disadvantaged gather the legal documentation necessary to obtain an identification.  Having an ID enables the clients to apply for a job or school, open a bank account, access shelter, vote, and seek help from social services.

The Mary Tyler Moore show brought a smile to so many with its ensemble cast of unique characters and hilarious dialogue.  The show premiered at a time when women were starting to expand their presence in the workforce.  Mary Richards showed a generation of young girls that they could be who they wanted to be, they could work in broadcast television, they could ask their boss for a raise and they could have a career.

Ten years ago, our friend and associate, Amy Darbyshire took a chance and joined our first company, CAPA Productions.  We knew she would be a great partner in our business and we were right.  Amy took on video and meeting production with much success. Along the way great relationships were built within the team and with our partners and clients.

Producing events can be an exciting, challenging job that changes daily.  Most of what the attendees experience: colorful lights, fun music, entertaining and educational videos make an event memorable.  In order to make that happen though, quite a bit of work goes on “behind the scenes.”
