In the world of events, every space is a canvas waiting to be transformed. Recently, TRG Meeting Partners embarked on this transformation journey with our new client, Ethos Veterinary Health, tasked with coordinating venue branding for their All In event. But this wasn’t just about slapping logos everywhere; it was about crafting an immersive experience that left a lasting impression.
It’s been a busy start to the first quarter of 2024 for the TRG team, with no signs of slowing down! In late January, the team traveled to our nation’s capital, Washington, DC, for the Ivy Rehab Director’s Summit.
When Amy and Tracy started TRG Meeting partners in 2013, they had a vision for the company. TRG
would be more than just an A/V production company, our relationships with our clients would be a
partnership to provide the best event experience for attendees, presenters, planners, crew and
everyone involved in the event.
These two products seem to have nothing in common. But a hotel’s in-house AV provider is like a
Starbucks site inside a grocery store. When you buy your groceries, you don’t necessarily need to
purchase a Starbucks coffee. But the convenience (and the aroma!) can seem like a quick and easy fix.
The same is true about using an in-house production company. Not only does this seem to be a
convenient service, it is also a revenue stream for the venue.
The Mexican Riviera would be a fun venue for an event, but the TRG Team was actually there for the
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) World Education Congress (WEC23). WEC is
considered the expert event for event experts. The theme of this year’s conference was
“Refresh!” and the meeting agenda and location for the event reflected this mindset. There were
blocks of downtime to network, visit the vendor Marketplace to connect with suppliers and time just to
reflect on the lessons learned and how to improve our personal and professional lives. One of our
favorite sessions was the sunrise meditation on the beach led by the keynote speaker from the previous
day – Pauline Nguyen, The Spiritual Entrepreneur.
Our busy spring season kicked off with the first of several events this year with our long-standing client,
National Veterinary Associates. In late February, we traveled to the Omni Houston Hotel for their
Compassion First Meeting. The event brought together 300 attendees for three days of General Session,
breakouts, networking activities, a sponsor showcase, and awards.
Meeting Professionals International, a leading association for the Meetings and Events industry, has
completed a comprehensive survey on the state of the industry for 2023. One thing stands out for
certain – the demand for in-person meetings has increased significantly compared to the previous year.
While this is great news for the industry, it also presents a few challenges, particularly finding available
space for an event.
To our partners and clients, TRG is known for our service excellence with audio visual production, show
flow, and logistics coordination with the conference or event site. Our newest client, HarmonyCares,
does not have a meeting planning department, so, they partnered with TRG to provide additional
services including:
The construction industry is rapidly growing, particularly in places like Denver, Colorado. As the industry grows, more jobs are opening, and Girl Scouts are working to show girls they have a place in the industry.
